Powerful, immortal beings born to the elements and cosmic forces, each has innate gifts of power and magical blood. They span a diverse spectrum of cultures with pointed fae-like ears, shades of skin which vary by race, and eyes that change color with strong emotion. And power. A vow of vengeance is often held for centuries and meted out with unmatched ferocity...

Small, mysterious magical beings that exist parallel to the other races, they travel freely between the realm worlds of Eriythia and are visible only when they wish to be. There are three clans that represent the many threads of destiny, both good and evil. Although very fragile, they maintain the balance of all life and magic, and their decline would mean the extinction of all the races...

Stalwart warrior clans and monarchies, they are descended from the blood of the ancient gods, the first immortal beings to walk the realms, and something unknown. There are three clans with several clashing factions. They worship strength and hold fated bonds sacred. When not enraged, they are constantly seeking inner peace and are at war with their
darkest inner urges…

Fledgling mortal races envious of the power and longevity of the Alfar, many are driven by their fascination with the study of mystical arts, divine energies, and a new form of science. Despite their status as the physically weakest of the races, they are volatile and dangerous and capable of threatening even the strongest of immortals...

Serpentine guardians of large bodies of water and servants of the Old Gods, they were bestowed the divine task of protecting the Eternal Springs, source of Braais. Said to grant god-like gifts and immortality, it is the nectar of the gods, and is strictly forbidden to the races of Eriythia. When not at war with their own kind, they are regularly besieged by the other races, both seeking to locate the springs to seize its power...

Warped by a hunger for the flesh of their own kind, these beings have flesh-torn faces and wild eyes, wandering ravaged and barren lands or sweeping through far-reaching villages with ravenous hunger. Said to hail from races that survived the Scorch of the Twin Suns, they were driven mad by the heat, the few that emerged afterward existing only to satisfy their basest urges:
the need to feed…

Manifestations of the natural elements with jagged appearances, those not bonded to a powerful mage are fickle and prone to lashing out when provoked. Elementals that cannot be appeased out of their rage turn into wild banes. Unpredictable forces of nature, they are relentless in
their pursuits and cannot be destroyed…

Brutish towering beings, they are warlike in appearance with tusked jaws and faces. Crusading the lands in search of conquest for their tribes, they often act as foot soldiers to powerful dark lords and pillage captured kingdoms. They call themselves "Hir Berkkan," translated in the Common Tongue as "servants of blood and glory"...

A cosmic event occurring every 1,000 years, it marks the alignment of the realms when the gates between dimensions unlock to unleash both beauty and devastation, stirring a clash of the races where Death might reap his fill. It is known by some as the Weeping Window, whispered by others as the Convergence. Few immortals have lived to see it, fewer still sense its coming...
